I’ve never made an autumn bucket list previously, which you probably find strange with all the organization tips I’m sharing with you. I do love all the routines I made considered mom life. They keep me right on track because this kind of life might feel a bit exhausting sometimes.
I am always onto something. It’s the price you pay when you choose to raise the kid the right way and build a career at the same time. On the other hand, I’d never build a blogging career if I haven’t decided to have him right now (apparently, my blog’s all about surviving parenting the healthiest way possible)!
My role is so much more than a mom role. It’s the BFF role and the crying shoulder role of course (for both of my guys and all the other family members). A businesswoman and the student for life role. And to have it all (because I badly want it all), I must organize myself.
Pinterest made me feel like…
My Pinterest account made me do it!
I’ve been blogging for 3 years already, but I haven’t considered Pinterest that important before. After I figured out I could use some more visitors to my blog, I thought I could try this pinning game.
Aaaaaaand…
Just look at those statistics! The point is that this happened in less than a month of actively applying marketing strategy to Pinterest – FOR THE FIRST TIME! Because I settled myself down, planned the strategy and went for it! But Pinterest has gone crazy about the autumn nowadays (and I’m at the stage of wanting to grow more).
So, I figured out I could use some autumn bucket list on the paper. So it can remind me of all the things I should be finishing up. I’m not exactly achieving 5 stars in my business world. And, even though I completely rock at all things considered family roles, not having 5 stars the way I imagined them, makes me feel distracted sometimes.
This autumn bucket list should be an inspiration and a faith that I can do it. A reminder that I have a plan that is important to follow each day to never lose my way. I want to always stay present, especially during family times (which happens to cover 80% of my daily time, and I LOVE IT).
I believe that making an autumn bucket list might help me achieve it all. (please, don’t roll your eyes if you find this statement stupid, I’m side to side with the Universe, I might sue you!) And the Pinterest gave me all that inspiration. Well, now, here we go…
– Business autumn bucket list –
Everything goes smoothly in my life, except for business. Yeah, if you ask me, it goes all right, but it’s just not getting me to where I want to be in a few months from now. With what I have, it’ll probably happen in a year or so. So I wanted to speed the things up by making this autumn bucket list to always remind me. To not let me forget. To keep my focus at work and my presence in life at the same time.
1 Stick to the plan
This is important to me because I felt like mess.
As a student of Serbian language and literature who has been attending all of the events while slowly losing faith, I started freelancing. People took my articles without paying several times. I still managed to pass the exams, pregnant (but nobody knew) and got myself onto the next year.
Then I chose to stay home a while to take care of the baby, to educate him, to nourish his mind and hobbies. In the meanwhile, I started this blog and found out I wanted a different career. Right now, I am collecting money for a different college which I’m, thrilled to attend, but also, for leaving Serbia.
Many times, Serbia legally prevented me from making huge money with this blog, which is, to me, absurd.
I’m not anymore counting the bad moments from childhood, because now I know I worth (according to all experiences that happened in the last two years). Also, I won so many 1st and 2nd places in writing contests, and that’s why it’s absurd to me that where I live is preventing me to educate further in the field I am good at and to sign contracts with many companies. By choosing to stick to the plan, I’m getting closer to achieving my dreams.
2 Go through course once again
Recently, I bought the Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing Course. In case you’re wondering, or haven’t yet tried it, affiliate marketing is basically promoting the products you love by linking them to your site. Of course, it sounds way too easy than it is.
Affiliate marketing is a complex theme. You’ll have to legally protect yourself, to find the right products and the best marketing strategy. If you want to sell hugely.
So, the reason I put the course into my autumn bucket list is that both the autumn season and Christmas season are the best seasons for affiliate marketing. Especially Christmas, when people take some time off work and scroll the internet even more. They’re searching for gift ideas, then there’s the black Friday sale and many more! This year, I want to bring out the most of every season, so I want to prepare earlier!
3 Write an ebook
I’m an everyday writer. From dusk till dawn really. I enjoy writing blog posts, my content writer role for magazines, song lyrics, making stories for my toddler…
And I feel so lousy I haven’t yet published any of my books! I’ll do my best to finish any of my short ebooks (courses/workbooks/tips), the one that I find most attractive for the next (Christmas) season. Hopefully, there’ll be space to finish a novel in ’20 as well!
4 Brand myself & update the blog
This wasn’t supposed to be here. Because I wanted to do it earlier. But here’s the thing. I survived a zoster trauma.
That annoying friend of mine, which got itself deep inside me, prevented me from fulfilling my last year’s dreams. Also, it separated me from inspiration and motivation to going further. Because I was surviving it for two months. It was hard to get back into the rut, but I’m so glad I
Anyhow, my goal is to brand both myself and my blog. So, the website might feel empty right now, because it is currently under construction. My husband, who is a graphic designer, will figure out the logo. And the rest of the stuff, we’ll try to figure out together. So many things to create
5 More of content writing
I have recently written an article about how to support blogging career with investment-free business ideas. However, I’m ought to write more for others so I chose two special days for that. Mondays and Wednesdays (because Tuesday and Fridays are for blog posts + the social media at the correct time and everyday Pinterest plan).
– Autumn bucket list cut into personal –
What’s it about you people and your obsession with the “drink apple cider” and “wear boots”? I mean, I get the “go to the haunting house”, it’s a thing now that it gets chilly outside and we all strive for comfort and coziness. But I use to be drinking the so-called-fall drink every morning and boots are my all time favourites.
The point is, the scents of autumn are all nice and it’s great that you are open-minded enough to enjoy the season with your full heart!
But hey, this was supposed to be the end of something!
“All the trees are getting naked, changing their clothes for better fashion”, I used to be writing as a kid in school.
You should change something too! Now it’s a perfect time! The perfect inspiration for leaving the past behind, for dropping something old over enjoying something new. To become the new you. Make it personal, seize the season!
1 30-days everyday yoga challenge
This is a big deal for me! I have been called yogi ever since I switched from HIIT workouts to yoga during my pregnancy. But due to life obligations since then, I never really had a chance to do it every.single.day.
I’ve spoken to my husband over this and he supported, so I’m assuming he’ll do his best to help this happen. We have a plan to start yoga series videos shortly also. My plan is all finished now and I’m currently on day 2. Hopefully, I shall come from it out as an advanced yogi!
2 Piano lessons at least twice a week
I’m not attending any music school now. I was when I was a kid, but at that time, I was also attending English school, karate and basketball. So I had to leave something behind. Since I was learning flute which is not even near my favourite instrument, I decided to leave the music school.
However, music has always been my passion. And I am so happy to have a talented musician as my husband. But I am happier that we passed our passions and knowledge about music to our son. He regularly plays the drums during the music hours (at 4 PM) and any other free play hour if he feels like doing so. He also has an electric guitar, but we haven’t yet planned the whole guitar theory with him. So, for now, he plays it on his own, expressing the creativity however he wants.
Onto me now again! My husband told me several times that it’s a shame I don’t regularly practise the piano when it’s standing right there and calling for me! He also said that I’m talented and that I should go for it because he sees how much the music fulfils me. And one more thing, he thinks it would be great that I
With all the reasons he named, I believe I have no right not to play the piano and practise singing. Such a perfect thing to put on my autumn bucket list: piano, candles, cosy atmosphere!
Fall is so on!
3 Music room makeover
We’ve already painted the walls and bought some stuff. But to be completely honest, the music room is in a complete mess. I went through deep cleaning the whole house (from every single drawer in every room to decluttering the clothes) last week. Many things, somehow, ending either in the room next to it or in the music room itself. So, that’ll be the big action this fall (hopefully, pretty soon)!
4 Reading class with the kid
When he was just a baby, I bought the How to Multiply Your Baby’s Intelligence: The Gentle Revolution. According to the authors, father-daughter team, Glenn and Janet Doman, which are proven specialists, babies and young kids should focus on three learning states: reading, mathematics and general knowledge.
I am educating my kid about general knowledge on a daily basis. We either do nature, human body or science (we usually include experiments too). The book helped me achieve so much with the kid. He knew all of the letters when he was a 1-year-old. And his English is getting better each day.
ALSO, you can download my free planner if you feel like starting some kind of a learning routine with your kid.
Just sign up through the picture below and learn how to plan the learning to be fun and what you should teach the kid. How to teach and how to make lessons on your own (and many more)!
As for the reading, we never really had a chance to start it. I don’t know whether I’ll succeed or not, but it’s now put on this autumn bucket list, so we’ll go for it. With the technique from the book: 5 small words per day written on 15 inches paper shown in 1 second each.
5 Help my husband find more time for music
At the end of August, I planned the whole of September. By far, my routines are going smoothly. I stick to my plans and that helps me feel calm and finish everything.
My husband, although working as a graphic designer, is a very talented musician making his songs again! We are all super excited about that, but the lack of time prevents him from fulfilling his dream.
The reason I put this on MY autumn bucket list is that I want that we all start to treat this as a priority. Also, I want to include it in my planning for the next month. I’ll try to balance between my working days, his music days, and days we all spend together as a family. Of course, we’ll spend almost every day together as a family of three, but two-three days per week, we’ll possibly stay together the whole day.
Now, what about your autumn bucket list?
Go ahead and tell me what do YOU think about the idea of making it personal? What you enjoy the most about this season and which are your favourite scents (definitely cinnamon for me)? Which projects will you be sprinkling apple cider and cinnamon on this time? 😉

Having a bucket list can really help me focus more. There’s no autumn season where I live but I am excited to visit Seoul this November to experience autumn season for the first time

What a refreshing way to set an Autumn Bucket List. I love your prioritization for folding more music into your life. I’ll have to sprinkle some cinnamon in my coffee and start a list of my own.
Krysten Quiles says
This Autumn I want to learn how to let go. Of things at work that I can’t change. Of things in the past that I can’t change. I need to let go of my anger and just be.
Joanna says
I like that you didn’t include any classic go see the leafs turning yellow kind of activities in your list. My autumn bucket list has only one thing on it: find a house in the UK and move there by the end of November. I’ll be working all autumn to find my perfect new home. 🙂

Wow! That’s some progress on Pinterest. I recently started it but I am very inconsistent:(

Bucket lists really help you accomplish the things you want to. In my personal life I have noticed when I write these things down, I are much more likely to do them.

Sounds like you have some good plans about what’s coming up in the future, and great your husband will be helping you out with it all. I’m sure it will turn out amazing. It’s difficult when life intervenes and there are setbacks but I’m sure you are on the right path now.

I try my best to keep to the plan. And the points in it just get more numerous. Encouraging article. It inspires me to move forward no matter what.
