If you’re with those 10% extraordinary humans who have written down all their holiday gifts for the season in September and are ready to do all the shopping on Black Friday/Cyber Monday, wow! If not, I’ve got your back.
There’s actually ONE simple thing you may want to wrap with honesty for that mom with young kids in your life that’ll make her truly happy. No matter the interests and character. And that is… SLEEP.
The magical words “you sleep, i’ll watch him/her” really are magical. It’s what they need if you can give. If not, or if you still want to wrap up a holiday gift for her, no matter what, here’s the guide. I listed both luxury and those that are not so expensive, but these lifesavers are what most moms (me including) need.
Holiday Gifts For Fresh Moms
I strongly believe every mom would enjoy some of these ideas. However, you must know the person from within to make her happy. What’s the point in gifting a stranger, after all?
Also, here’s my epic toddler gift guide to make the wishes come true.
Now, the fresh mom holiday gifts, at last.
1 Boden gift voucher.
According to what I wrote above, I hopefully convinced you to, when thinking about holiday gifts for fresh moms, you have to think about what they need. (Does this sentence make sense?) BUT, what they need is not always a bra, an infant seat, or an electric infant rocker.
While those would be lifesavers too, someone has probably put them on their list. Or she maybe has them already. The idea of gifting a Boden gift voucher is where you splurge the lucky mom. You don’t have to worry whether she’ll like your choice plus she’ll feel super special with a gift like this one.
Top 5 mom-picked vouchers:
1 Boden
2 Amazon
3 Google Play
4 Walmart
5 Nordstrom
2 Baby’s first year book.
I remember how hard it was for me, three years ago, to find the one that satisfies our artistic eyes. Lovely pastel colours in this one make the first year almost feel like a fairytale.
Top 5 baby’s first year books:
1 Lucy Darling’s Baby Memory Book $34.99
2 Peachly Store Memory Book $37.99
3 Lucy Darling’s Little Kaleidoscope Memory Book $34.99
4 Lucy Darling’s Little Rainbow Memory Book $34.99
5 Uli Agi Five Year Scrapbook & Photo Album $32.99
3 Luxurious skincare.
This Kate Somerville’s moisturizer cream with vitamin C and retinol is just the perfect one for moms. Vitamin C and retinol both are recognised by experts to be the best compound in protecting the tired (mom) skin. They help preserve collagen levels and freshen the dull, tired skin.
Top 5 skincare sets for moms:
1 New Mom’s Skin Recovery Set $17.13
2 LANCÔME Advanced Génifique Trio $159.00
3 Collagen-Infused Eye Gels & Sleep Mask Set $25.00
4 Wrinkle Kit by Olay Professional $49.99
5 Three Beauty Secrets by Charlotte Tilbury $75.00
4 Polaroid camera.
Yes, moms are such stalkers. They want to collect every memory, every first, every bad and every good decision… That’s why a Polaroid camera would be a non-negotiable choice when choosing holiday gifts for a mom. Especially those moms that fancy retro style.
Top 5 best polaroid cameras:
1 Polaroid Originals i-Type Camera + Color Film Bundle $129.99
2 Kodak Mini Shot 3 Retro Portable Wireless Instant Camera & Photo Printer $119.99
3 Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 + Deluxe Bundle $107.99
4 KODAK Printomatic Digital Instant Print Camera $49.99
5 Zink Polaroid SNAP Touch 2.0 $141.60
5 Espresso machine.
An espresso machine, because, obviously, she’ll need it quick and strong, with lots of love. The coffee, of course. Before having a baby I never was a coffee addict. I hated the taste of it, and I still do, from time to time. But things have changed drastically.
Constantly running around while trying to stay present with the mind, I am more than tired. Therefore my body badly needs caffeine. An espresso machine is not what I have in my house (but I do have another coffee maker), but this is the actual one my brother and his fiancee have. We ALWAYS drink espresso when at their house.
Top 5 other picks:
1 Yabano Espresso Machine, Espresso and Cappuccino with Milk Frother $39.99
2 Bar Cappuccino Machine with Adjustment Milk Frother for Espresso, Latte and Mocha $99.99
3 Breville Vertuo Coffee and Espresso Machine $178.99
4 Calphalon BVCLECMP1 Temp iQ Espresso Machine with Steam Wand, Stainless $299.99
5 Nespresso VertuoPlus Coffee and Espresso Maker by De’Longhi $104.99
6 Table for laptop.
This one from Walmart has a great price and I think is the design everyone could admire. Also, according to science, many moms decide to stay home with the kids, so they do side-hustles. Whether a blogging, tutoring, bookeeping, it’s our thing.
So, if the mom you know is side-hustling, or working full-time from home, that would be a great choice. Even if she’s not, she probably needs some time alone to relax and watch movies, for instance.
Top 5 laptop table picks:
1 Laptop Desk for Bed + extras $42.99
2 Folding Desk $79.99
3 Sofa Side Table with Wheels Couch Table $49.99
4 Laptop Bed Table & Breakfast Tray $38.69
5 Laptop Stand $29.99
7 Cosy blanket.
Perfectly goes together with a table for a laptop mentioned above. A little bit of girlish, pastel colours, warm, perfect for breastfeeding, cuddle with little one, relaxation.
Top 5 most adorable:
1 Faux Fur Throw Blanket Anthropologie $67.60
2 Geometric Abstract Triangles in Pastel Pink Gold Soft for Bed Sofa and Couch $33.99
3 Bliss Fuzzy Throw UGG $98.00
4 Ink Cuddle Blanket $45.00
5 Pink Luxury Fleece Blanket for Bed Couch $15.99
8 Slow-cooker.
What was my life without you, slow-cooker? It’s all about the simplicity in the kitchen to me these days. Although I have no problem entertaining my boy while cooking, I still want to cherish as many moments of us alone as I can. Kids grow up so fast, parents run way too much.
So, on days daddy puts him to bed, I spend half an hour to put the ingredients in slow-cooker to prepare warm meal for the next three days overnight. I don’t even check the lunch anymore, I can casually go outside in the mornings with no worries at all.

5 Elite Cuisine MST-250XW 1.5-Quart Round Slow Cooker, White $14.99
9 Comfy jacket.
Bye bye tight clothes all the time! No fun with those at the playground, no peace while running errands. Might sound a bit strange to gift a jacket to a mother, but that’s what was the last thing on my mind. But seriously, one of the most needed essentials of all time.
Top 5:
1 freepeople Teddy Shirt Jacket $128.00
2 Anthropologie Patti Colorblocked Faux Fur Coat $238.00
3 H&M Boxy Twill Coat $55.99
4 H&M Jersey Shacket $23.99

10 Yoga clothes.
I switched from HIIT workouts to yoga during pregnancy. The way yoga fulfilled my mind, opened my heart and prepared me for parenthood is beyond anything. Calm nerves, intelligence, gratitude, gracefulness.
I couldn’t imagine myself being any other kind of mom, but the yogi mom. The present mom who cherish small and big moments, discipline with so many feelings involved and loves unconditionally. Recently, yoga clothes have become my home clothes just because I feel so good wearing yoga pants, plus it reminds me to work out.

1 IT Girl Bomber $198.00
2 MAMA Sports Leggings $19.99
3 Seamless Sports Leggings $23.99
