Playground and running errands

Yeah, it’s completely crazy when you have to run errands, especially with the kids. Although I love the idea of involving my son in helping me, it seems so annoying sometimes. Not the kid, but the whole process of me going through to-do lists while still trying to make space for him to have fun.

Because this is exhausting for him. Because I have to think of in-between meals, in-between fun, in-between breaks. I do try to always put comfy and warm clothes for both of us. He usually stays in his bike, so he needs it as much as me, a “running mom”. When at the playground, on the other side, there’s no meltdowns and usually, no place for drama.

However, we often play together (for instance, there are no kids at 7 AM) at the playground. When not, I keep my eyes wide open in case he’ll need my help (some kids get pretty rude and bossy and there are obstacles he still can’t cross alone at those gym playgrounds). Therefore I ALWAYS choose something comfy, yet stylish, for the playground fun.

B-day parties are where we go anywhere from casual and comfy to elegancy, depending on the place. Whether the elegancy or casual, there’s always another full set of clothes in my big bag. Children sweat a lot while playing, so I never forget the extras!

Coffe date Black Friday deals for moms

Normally, I don’t do coffee dates a lot since there’s so much to do (but I know many of you enjoy them). Ah, and when I do, I go out around 6 PM with my kid for a glass of beer and a hot chocolate for the little one. It’s an epic coffee/beer date that none of my friends could ever outclass. Either with friends or family members, classy style with a bit of make-up and I’m ready!

We all love dining at restaurants, cinema and shiny, classy clothes on all three of us. Our son really behaves well at restaurants, playing with his toys silently and he always tries to act like a grown-up. We find his grown-up stage SO CUTE that we don’t force him to get back to reality (do tell me if I’m wrong?!).

Last night, we went to watch Frozen with my best friend and her two kiddos who are older than mine. Although I was a bit scared at how he’ll react at two hours long movie, he only asked when will it be over a few times. Really no drama at all. Probably because of the friends that were silently watching and he wanted to be big like them.

We don’t ever have the drama at concerts since my 3-year-old is a musician too (you can find videos him playing under the highlight “2-year-old drummer”). But the movies he doesn’t dance along with since he’s not used to technology that much. So proud of him for acting so grown-up this time!

I’d love there’ll be more romantic nights for my chosen one and me, but we’re stuck at “once in a year” at this time. HOWEVER, no romance has ever left us, so we make sure to nurture it at least in the comfort of our home. Anyhow, WHEN we go out together, I satisfy his eyes needs at me the best I can. 😉
