I’ve heard people talking about the lack of inspiration. They said it would be great if only they had a little bit more of it. It’s ok to get lost sometimes. But if you’re constantly chasing air (and you don’t see it), you need some kind of fuel. My inspiration (for writing, and life in general) hardly leaves my side. It only happens if I stop and then I lose my track. My greatest passion and my fuel is music. Music playlist keeps me secured and wrapped in inspiration.
When I first saw my husband I had no idea he’s a musician. When we went out, he mentioned something. But what attracted me to him is his way of understanding me fully, and his wisdom. A theory about us ending up married wasn’t foreseen (I was never thinking about marriage before), though I knew I’d be his girlfriend. We understood each other every day, and when we figured it all out- something happened. Since we started to feel some kind of connection between us, we couldn’t stand not seeing each other for a single day.
During school, I was talking about music a lot, and also recommending songs to almost everyone. But since I was born in 1993 and in Serbia, I often ended up alone and ashamed. Even though I couldn’t stand music of modern age, I respected everyone’s choice. I would never laugh at anyone, and I always tried to be kind. Not understanding the other person’s lifestyle means that you do not understand yourself. Songs can teach you how to live your life. They are getting into your thoughts accidentally, giving you different kinds of emotions, and opening doors to many lifestyles.

Aren’t you people aware of this cheerful time of year when everyone should be calm and happy? Why are we in such a rush in December? We swear to accomplish our dreams every next year, make our lists, and feel enthusiastic. But still, we are very stressed because of decoration, presents, and that December 31. It’s hard to come back to living if you don’t pay attention to your mind. The world seems happier if you are happy for yourself, and not for those things, everybody else is doing in December.
This is the playlist I am listening to when I’m stressed. These songs are all songs of great musicians and they have the energy. They make me calm, and they can even put a baby to sleep (checked it)!
1. David Bowie – Thursday’s Child
2. Morphine – Candy
3. Fleetwood Mac – Dreams
4. Arctic Monkeys – Piledriver Waltz
5. Petula Clark – Downtown
6. Def Leppard – Love Bites
7. Mama Cass Elliot – Make Your Own Kinda Music
8. The Beatles – I Saw Her Standing There
9. Kings of Leon – Closer
10. Lana Del Rey – Young and Beautiful
11. David Bowie – Golden Years
