Who’s in need for more dairy-free food than a toddler mom?!
Little ones could go on consuming milk for all of six meals per day. And in between. But that’s so unhealthy and unorganised. So in this healthy breakfast, treat, or whatever, we won’t put anything milky.
I don’t like my son consuming milk the whole day since it can lead to some issues with health. Two cups per day would be quite enough if you ask me. But yesterday, things got milky-craze! After the third cup, we decided to give him coconut milk. But he was still craving more of his ordinary milk. He got out for a nice chit-chat walk with dad, and I made this nutritious dairy-free treat for dinner. And I did a bunch of other things as well, cause it took me 7 minutes to prepare it!
Dairy-free nutritious cookies
Ingredients
- 2 cups oats
- 2 tsp chick-peas ground
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 cups coconut milk
- 3 bananas mashed
- 4 tsp maple syrup
- 4 tsp coconut sugar
- 2 tsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp cacao
- 3 tbsp goji berries
Instructions
-
Mix dry ingredients and wet ingredients separately.
-
Combine everything together.
-
Bake for about 30 minutes.
All the best ingredients combined in dairy-free sweet cookies!
The recipe may not be completely kid-friendly in your house since some children are not used to chick-peas and goji berries. If that’s the case with your child, omit those two ingredients. Instead of coconut milk, you could use almond milk, and instead of maple syrup honey. Chia seeds are also not necessary, and any other sweetener besides coconut sugar would be just fine.
Feel free to experiment, because you will be good with oats, some kind of milk variation and any kind of sweeteners. Besides those two things, you can add anything to your nutritious cookies.

My boy is milk mad so I would like to try alternatives. Since the prep is quite straightforward, I think I’ll try making these with him, he may be more interested if he’s had a hand in the preparation.

This recipe is definitely a great option for kids that are lactose intolerant. My only problem would be that my kids would want to dip the cookies in milk LOL
