There are people out there trying to stay healthy the best way possible too. Many of them are making sauces on their own too. This particular sauce I made because of my son. Even though he is a big fan of veggies, he doesn’t like chewing on a carrot. I really don’t have problems with his menu, he likes everything (even his spinach smoothie). But chewing on carrot makes him bored because it takes time…
Carrot and cauliflower
Carrot is that veggie you need if you are that person who likes to stay beautiful. They are great for skin, eyes, and health in general. Full with Vitamin A and beta-carotene, they are perfect antioxidants!
Cauliflower also keeps you healthy, so don’t forget to bring it to the table. It has B vitamins, Vitamin K, fibre, protein… Don’t forget this is broccoli’s cousin!
Mac and veggies ARE delicious
Even more delicious than spaghetti bolognese (when you got used to the taste)! My son’s energy increased after this meal, and he certainly enjoyed it.
Mac and Veggies
Ingredients
- 500 g macaroni
- 2 carrots
- 1 cauliflower
- 150 ml milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- cheddar cheese
Instructions

Chop veggies and steam them for 10 minutes

Cook macaroni.

Puree your veggies (with water, in a blender).

In a medium stove cook milk, veggies, and butter. This is your sauce.

Put your sauce over macaroni, and garnish with cheddar cheese.
