As part of my workout plan, I chose a mix of yoga and fitness (Pilates and HIIT workouts). But it wasn’t always like this. Although I fell in love with yoga the day I first tried it, I couldn’t find the nerve to do it on my own before pregnancy. I also loved my crazy HIIT training and didn’t feel like changing it. Until that time I was a busy pregnant literature student and I knew I had to switch to yoga because of nausea. That’s when my yoga journey begins…
Yoga can shape your body, strengthen your posture and lead you to discover your true potential. BUT, my workout plan usually consists of a mix of yoga, HIIT workout and Pilates. I’ve been doing a lot of socks workout lately too, instead of my Pilates days.
I mix my workouts because it’s what feels correct for me. No one should follow someone else’s path if that path doesn’t please them. For instance, some people regularly go to the gym, which may not be your choice, others do Pilates at home, some use weights, others their body weight.
There’s a lot of things to consider before making a workout plan. Like, what’s your body goal, or is there something you should focus on more (ex. increasing health or reducing belly fat). Why do you want to start the journey? Is it that you want to gain muscles or flexibility?

My goal is to tone, sculpt muscles and get into advanced yoga practice. I don’t go to the gym, and I don’t use weights. I make rules in the comfort of my home. After two months of this exact routine, I am beyond satisfied with my body image!
So, if you’re anything like myself, then follow along! Here’s my weekly workout plan.
Weekly workout plan.

Best of tips…
Before you dive into making your workout plan, I shout at you these: make it a lifestyle and breathe in the calmness. Wherever you are with your mind and body, it’s the right place to be at this moment.
Remember those motivational quotes that say: when you feel like you can’t, go further? Forget about them! They are not right. Only go further to that point where your body and mind feels safe.
Making it a lifestyle, you’ll lead yourself to self-acceptance instead of negativity and exhaustion. Rest every time you feel you should stop to catch the breath, eat the right food and hydrate first thing in the morning.
Manifest your body goals before every workout and go to bed with a positive mind. Let’s stay connected! Share your best tips and worst nightmares with us so we can all help each other! 😉
